Miles is a research scientist in algorithms and optimization and holds Pd.D. from the Operations Research Center at MIT, a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and M.S. in Statistics from the Univerity of Chicago. Miles has worked at the Argonne and Los Alamos National Laboratories and was a researcher for Google's Algorithms & Optimization team from 2017 to 2022. More recently, Miles has begun working for the AI Lab at Hudson River Trading.
